Speaking at the Annual Meeting for the prestigious National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (“NAMWOLF”), Sapientia attorney Jon Strauss presented on how best to use TED Talk techniques during trials. Jon spoke about how the TED Talk strategies of novelty, brevity and practice are applicable to jury trials. The panel for “Try it Like TED” also included Julie Gibbens, Associate General Counsel from Walmart/Sam’s Club; Jeana Goosmann of the Goosmann Law Firm; Amy Gaffney of Gaffney, Lewis & Edwards; and Jamala McFadden of McFadden Davis. Other speakers at the NAMWOLF Annual Meeting included actor/author/activist Hill Harper and Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner.
