Juliana assists clients as outside general counsel and in a variety of real estate transactions. Prior to joining Sapientia, Juliana has worked both as in-house counsel and as an associate at a large Minneapolis law firm.
Juliana has experience in a wide range of general business law matters, including corporate investigations, contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Juliana is also experienced in a variety of real property transactions, including commercial real estate purchase and sale, resolving title and survey issues, leasing, and tenant-landlord matters. She is a practical, forward-thinking, and trusted advisor who understands business needs and works closely with clients developing strategies to achieve their goals.
After studying at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, Juliana moved to Minnesota and earned her bachelor’s degree in International Relations, summa cum laude, from Saint Cloud State University. Juliana earned her law degree from Hamline University School of Law (now Mitchell Hamline School of Law) while working full time at a large financial institution’s legal department.
