Rachel is a civil trial lawyer with a focus in commercial and real estate litigation, contract disputes, and post-judgment collections. Rachel has built her legal career around the practical challenges of civil litigation, representing businesses and individuals in disputes that often carry significant financial and personal consequences. Her work reflects a combination of courtroom advocacy, strategic problem-solving, and a commitment to helping clients navigate complex legal matters.
After beginning her legal career in the South Texas Coastal Bend performing insurance defense work, Rachel moved to Austin, Texas where she quickly demonstrated her skills in the courtroom representing individuals and business clients in a variety of disputes across a wide spectrum of courts throughout Texas, from Brownsville to Plano. She further developed an expertise in contract disputes and judgment collections, ensuring that her clients not only found success in the courtroom, but in real money payments on judgments after trial.
In 2024, Rachel brought her expertise up to the Midwest and became licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Within a year, Rachel successfully collected in full on an 11-year-old judgment from a Judgment Debtor in Wisconsin for her client while also maintaining her busy litigation practice back in Texas. Rachel also represents Minnesota and Wisconsin clients with contract disputes, real estate matters, and other commercial litigation matters.
Rachel is a dedicated advocate for access to judgment for low income individuals and provides regular pro bono services through the Minnesota Volunteer Legal Network, including a monthly creditor/debtor legal advice clinic. She is also passionate about the advancement of women in the legal profession and is actively involved in organizations supporting other women lawyers, including the Minnesota Women Lawyers and Mother Attorney Mentoring Association (“MAMAs”).
When Rachel isn’t zealously advocating for her clients, she enjoys time with her husband and their family by enjoying all of the amazing outdoor activities Minnesota has to offer throughout the year and traveling to new places. She is also a “foodie” who enjoys trying new restaurants and coffee shops wherever she goes.
