About
Andrea is a commercial litigation attorney, who also advises her clients on corporate, commercial, and transactional matters. She is licensed in Colombia and Minnesota. While in Colombia, Andrea worked for a law firm advising national and international clients in a wide variety of business and commercial matters involving real estate transactions, land use and development, corporate formation and governance, intellectual property, commercial contract review and negotiation, foreign investment, and general counsel.

Andrea also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jose Miguel Mendoza of the Superintendency of Corporations, Division of Private Enforcement. In this role, Andrea drafted opinions and bench memoranda and presided over hearings involving commercial and complex corporate disputes, such as shareholder disputes, shareholder derivative actions, and corporate governance claims.

In 2019, Andrea received her law degree in the United States. Today, she handles a variety of business and commercial litigation issues involving shareholder disputes, corporate governance, fraud and general contract disputes. Andrea also advises clients in the areas of foreign investment in the U.S. and U.S. corporate formation and governance, corporate law, real estate, and commercial transactions. 

Andrea is a passionate advocate of human trafficking cases. She has represented clients in labor trafficking cases in front of the USCIS and has supported law enforcement agencies’ criminal investigations of labor trafficking.
